Changing your existing Network to another Network and keeping your existing mobile number

If for some reason you are not happy with your existing network - they are costing you a lot or you are not happy with their reception - you can migrate from one network to another and still "keep" your existing mobile number.

Please Note: You must not cancel your existing contract with your network, as disconnected numbers cannot be transferred. When you provide your PAC number to your new chosen network this will instigate the cancellation process with your current Network/Service Provider.

  • Changing your existing Network to 3 Should you wish to migrate (port) your existing number to a new contract with 3, you will first need to contact your existing network to obtain your PAC code. Once you have your PAC code simply order your handset as normal from our website. Your new handset will be connected with a 'temporary number' on 3. When you receive your phone, you must contact 3 at the number shown below quoting your 'temporary number', the number you wish to migrate across (i.e. your existing number) and your PAC code.
    3 : 0870 733 0333
5 to 7 working days later your existing number will be transferred.

Once your existing number has been transferred, your ported number will function as your voice-calling number and your temporary number will function as the video-calling number. You will need to provide your temporary 3 number to people wishing to call you via Video as Video Calling will not work via your 'ported/transferred' existing number.

  • Changing your existing Network to Orange Should you wish to migrate (port) your existing number to a new contract with Orange, you will first need to contact your existing network to obtain your PAC code. Once you have your PAC code simply order your handset as normal from our website. Your new handset will be connected with a 'temporary number' on Orange. When you receive your phone, you must contact Orange at the number shown below quoting your 'temporary number', the number you wish to migrate across (i.e. your existing number) and your PAC code.
    Orange : 0800 376 2285
5 to 7 working days later your existing number will be transferred.
Please Note: Unfortunately, at Phones24.com we are unable to transfer Orange Pay As You Go to Orange contract.

  • Changing your existing Network to T-Mobile Should you wish to migrate (port) your existing number to a new contract with T-Mobile, you will first need to contact your existing network to obtain your PAC code. Once you have your PAC code simply order your handset as normal from our website. Your new handset will be connected with a 'temporary number' on T-Mobile. When you receive your phone, you must contact T-Mobile at the number shown below quoting your 'temporary number', the number you wish to migrate across (i.e. your existing number) and your PAC code.

  • Changing your existing Network to Vodafone To enable your existing mobile number to be ported onto your new contract, you must inform us at point of purchase stating your existing number and PAC code (Your PAC code can be obtained from your current network provider). We will despatch your new mobile & SIM card as normal along with starting the porting/transfer process for your existing number. Your existing number will then be transferred to your new SIM within approximately 7 to 10 working days of receipt of your new mobile.

Please note: Because your mobile number has to be released from your current network before it can be connected to your new network, you may be without service for up to 1 day. Other services such as voicemail and text messaging may also take up to 2 days to be enabled once your number has been transferred. You are able to continue using your existing mobile/SIM until the number is ported.
