You can upgrade your mobile phone to the latest and newest models on the same network and still keep your existing mobile phone number (i.e. you have a new handset but with your existing number). On Orange and O2 Contract you can upgrade your phone two months prior to the expiry of your existing contact (the full duration of your contract can be 12 months and 18 months) and on T-mobile, Three (3) and O2 Direct Contract one month prior to the expiry of your existing contact (the full duration of your contract can be 12 months and 18 months). You can also change your existing tariff to a new tariff when you are upgrading. When upgrading on the Orange Network, you will receive 10% on-bill discount the first time you upgrade and another 5% on-bill discount every time you upgrade after that until you reach 25%. This is providing you stay on the same tariff each time. Please note that you cannot upgrade your Pay As You Go mobile phone. You can also Port your number by changing your existing service provider/network to a new service provider/network (e.g. Moving from Three to T-mobile). You can port your number on all networks such as Vodafone Orange, Three (3), O2, T-Mobile and Virgin mobiles and keep your existing mobile phone number and you automatically get a new handset.
